BREED-S FRESH is a semi-moist broodstock diet for shrimp that provides up to 70% of the animal's daily dry matter intake. Its use drastically reduces the dependence on fresh or fresh-frozen feeds and therefore restricts issues with nutritional variability and biosecurity. The water-stable and highly palatable pellets are rapidly ingested by shrimp broodstock of any species.
Feeding regimes based on BREED-S FRESH show increased maturation of the females, spawning size and frequency, hatching rate, rate of metamorphosis to zoea and survival to the post-larval stages.

Protein
Highly digestible protein from fresh and fresh-frozen sources or selected premium
powders and solubles, 90% is of marine origin.
Lipid
Marine HUFA-rich oils, for a balanced composition of essential fatty acids (EPA and DHA); the lipids mainly consist of triglycerides, phospholipids and cholesterol, scientifically proven to be the most important contributors of vitellogenesis, energy and membrane building blocks.
Vitamins
A full range of vitamins and carotenoids is provided through selected premixes and natural ingredients.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The rate at which BREED-S FRESH replaces the commonly used broodstock feeds is summarized in Table 1. A typical example is explained in Table 2.

NOTES
- Start feeding one month before anticipated spawning
- Aweaning period of 1-2 weeks is required
- Feed fresh feeds and BREED-S FRESH as separate rations

2.3 mm diameter pellets, packaged in 10 kg buckets.
Storage
Store in a cool place, preferably refrigerated (2-8 °C).
Use within one month once the package is opened.
