A refrigerated, whole-cell concentrate of Isochrysis micoralgae that will enrich rotifers and maintain the DHA/EPA ratio of your rotifers in larval tanks. High in carotenoids and phospholipids. Strain: Tisochrysis lutea, CCMP13
This concentrated, frozen, biosecure microalgae is our original high-yield, rotifer grow-out feed. The single species Nannochloropsis produces healthy phospholipid-rich rotifer cultures. (Strain: CCMP525)
Pavlova is a small golden/brown flagellate that is very similar to Isochrysis. It has a VERY high DHA profile and is excellent for enriching rotifers and other zooplankton. It is difficult to grow and not widely produced. Strain: CCMP459
A large green flagellate with a very high lipid level. It also contains natural amino acids that stimulate feeding in marine animals. It is an excellent feed for larval shrimp. The shelf Life is 2 years frozen and 3 weeks once thawed. Strain: PLY 429
A small diatom (4.5-8 µm x 6-10 µm) used in the shrimp and bivalve larviculture industry. It has been found to be excellent for larval shrimp. Unlike many diatoms, the omega-3 fatty acid profile of TP provides, in addition to ample EPA (20.5% of fatty acids), significant DHA (6.3% of fatty acids).
